Why you’ll love this drink
- A blend of cosy flavours: The natural sweetness of maple syrup and the warm, spicy notes of cinnamon complement the bitterness of coffee, creating a rich and inviting taste profile.
- Only 4 ingredients: All you need is freshly brewed coffee, cinnamon powder, maple syrup, and milk! And it takes just 5 minutes to make!
- A perfect fall/winter drink: The combination of sweet and spicy, aromatic quality evokes a sense of comfort and warmth, making it a popular choice for chilly mornings during fall or winter seasons.

Ingredients for maple cinnamon coffee
- Espresso: I used two shots of espresso as I like a rich coffee taste. If you don’t have a coffee machine, you can mix coffee granules with hot water to make your own coffee.
- Cinnamon powder: The main cosy spice that contributes to the spicy, aromatic quality of this drink.
- Maple syrup: This adds natural sweetness to complement the cinnamon.
- Milk: For making frothy milk foam on top. I used full fat milk to make a rich, creamy milk foam.

How to make maple cinnamon coffee
- Mix together maple syrup and cinnamon powder in a cup, then add in freshly brewed double shot espresso.

- Use a milk frother to make milk foam, then pour into the cup.
- Dust extra cinnamon powder on top, and enjoy!

Is it better to use ground cinnamon or cinnamon sticks?
Ground cinnamon is more commonly used for ease of mixing, but cinnamon sticks can be used as well. If using sticks, steep them in the coffee while brewing.
Can this coffee be dairy-free?
Yes, absolutely! You can substitute the milk with almond milk, oat milk, or any other non-dairy alternative.
What other flavours can I add?
You can consider adding vanilla extract, nutmeg, or even a splash of whiskey for a unique twist!

Simple, delicious, and comforting, this maple cinnamon coffee is a perfect fall/winter drink that warms your heart. Taking only a few minutes to make, this beverage recipe is sure to boost your day with warmth and comfort!
