Roasted Garlic Bread

With rich, aromatic, buttery garlic flavours infused into the bread crumb, this roasted garlic bread is so satisfying that it gives you a mental bliss. It is irresistibly delicious, full of flavours, and easy to make!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 loaf baguette
  • 2 heads garlic
  • 1-2 tbsp olive oil
  • 75 g unsalted butter
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • chopped parsley

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 205°C.
  • Chop the tops of the garlic heads off. Place them on a baking tray lined with aluminium foil.
  • Wrap the garlic in aluminium foil. Make sure it's sealed tightly to retain the moisture.
  • Roast the garlic for 30-40 minutes until soft.
  • Squeeze out the roasted garlic cloves into a bowl.
  • Add in unsalted butter, salt, and pepper. Mash them altogether until well combined.
  • Slice the baguette into half.
  • Scoop half of the garlic butter mixture onto the cut side of one piece of bread, and spread it evenly across with a butter knife or spatula. Repeat for the other piece of bread.
  • Broil the bread until toasted (about 5 minutes).
