Ingredients

  • 12 chicken wings
  • 30 g butter
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 pc spring onion chopped
  • 2 tbsp oil for cooking
  • Sesame seeds for garnishing (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 180ºC.
  • Season the chicken wings with salt and pepper (be sure they are pat dried), and transfer them to the air fryer. Place them on a single layer to avoid overcrowding.
  • Pour some oil over the chicken wings, then air fry for 10 minutes. Flip the chicken wings, and air fry for another 5-10 minutes, or until golden-brown.
  • Remove the chicken wings from the air fryer and set aside.
  • In a deep frying pan, heat some oil over medium heat, and stir-fry minced garlic until fragrant and slightly golden. Stir in butter and honey.
  • When the honey butter sauce becomes bubbly and thickens, transfer the chicken wings to the pan, and toss them with the sauce.
  • Add in chopped spring onions and give it a quick stir.
  • Transfer the honey butter chicken wings to a serving plate, then garnish with extra chopped spring onions and some sesame seeds.
